Don't promise yourself to the first guy you meet. Sadly he may not be "the one".

Look for a guy who wants to be your best friend and your boyfriend.

Look for a guy who doesn't pressure you into doing anything. If he ever pushes you to do something that you don't want to, he's not right for you.

Any guy who tells you that you need to wear make-up, is too shallow and needs to figure himself out.

Wait for a guy who tells you that you're beautiful to him no matter if you're dressed up for a special date, or if you just woke up and you're still in your pj's

Wait for a guy who's not afraid to hold you, kiss you, or tell you that he loves you in front of his friends.

Wait for a guy who, even just after a week of being together, wants you to meet his parents. I mean he actually wants you to meet them, not because he has to, but because he wants them to meet "the girl of his dreams"

Don't ever settle for a guy that puts you down. There are better guys out there.

Never let a guy lay a hand on you in anger. If he EVER feels the need to do that, feel free to kick him out of your life!

Don't let yourself believe that you have to settle for a guy because you're getting older. Mr. Right Now is usually not Mr. Right for you. You will find him one day.

When you have found the one. Love them with all of your heart and don't hold back. You'll never know how long you'll be alive. Love until it hurts and then love some more.
